I thought I'd give this smoothie craze a try and it's...delicious! For this recipe you'll need: kale, spinach, carrot, apple, banna, mango, super fruits, plain yoghurt and orange+pineapple juice. This is a great way to start your day! Just remember, drink a tall glass of cold (lemon) water first thing in the morning to clear your stomach.
I'm thinking to replace a meal everyday with a Super Smoothie and very slowly work my way to replacing all 3 meals for a day. Let's just say that I've been eating a whole lot of soul food lately...but since summer is here I feel as though my body is pleading for a boost. I've been feeling groggy, achy and bent out of shape...panting after a couple of steps made me stop and realize I need to start something new! I'll keep you posted...
