Cupuacu is a delicious melon-sized fruit with a creamy pulp. It grows in the Amazon rainforest in the northern parts of Brazil, also known as 'the pharmacy in a fruit'! This fruit is currently considered one of the most nutitionally beneficial superfruits in the marketplace. Cupuacu actually tastes like a combination of chocolate, bannas, pear, passion fruit and pineapple! All my favorites in one! ...it also comes in the form of icecream...delish!
Cupuacu also contains vitamins B1, B2, B3 (niacin) fatty and amino acids, and at least nine antioxidants including vitamin A and C. It has an energetic effect, but does not contain caffeine. Unlike most energy drinks or caffeine, though, there is no tired feeling afterwards.
Cupuacu is one of the strongest moisturizers! It restores elasticity and moisture and extremely beneficial for dry and damaged skin and hair! It does come solid, but glides smoothly onto your skin! For the hair, it gives you shine and long lasting hydration.
When you get a chance, pick one up on your next health food store run.
Enjoy!

Artifact Girl xo

Are there any products you know of that contain Cupuacu? Or do you usually just buy it by itself and consume it that way?
