Did you know there is such a thing as 'Winter Acne"?
Many assume acne happens in the summer, where you're skin tends to be more oily. That's actually not the case. Your skin needs to sweat it out and staying active helps pump in oxygen to the skin. Your skin will produce more oil if it is too dry which will only clog pores.
The cold winter chill keeps our windows and doors closed, traping the dry air in the room. From time to time make sure you air the room well so that the air is replaced with fresh air.
Nourishing your skin well during this season is very important. I have tried a strawberry and honey mask to help prevent future breakouts and to moisturize my skin.
What you'll need:
1 large strawberry (or 2 medium strawberries)
1 tablespoon of honey
a mortar and pestle
a fork
a small bowl
Wash and slice the strawberries. Mash the strawberries as much as you can. You can even use a hand blender or blender if you're making a bigger quantity. Place the mashed strawberries into a bowl and add the honey. Mix with your fork. You can apply this mask on with a brush, cotton pad or even with your hands. Wait for about 10-15 minutes and wash it off. Make sure to moisturize your skin!
You'll feel refreshed!
I hope you enjoy!
Love,

I cannot wait to try this, my skin has just had the most random outbreak. Hopefully this can give it some love!

Oh, I know exactly how you feel! Try the mask 2-3 times a week. You'll really feel and see the difference! If you run out of strawberries you could just use honey and a splash a bit of lemon. If I feel like there isn't enough time to put on a mask, I'd put on the mask in the shower! :)
I hope it works out for you! xo
